What will delay the group's first shift

Deadlines slip not because of recruitment. The most common causes are an incomplete company document package and an unprepared site. Here are the four blocks checked before the start.

What the check covers

The full interactive checklist for HR is in the materials section, with a readiness score and saved results.

Recruitment runs in parallel, readiness does not

While WORKIN searches for people, the company assembles the document package and prepares the site. These two run at the same time, and the project timeline equals the longer of them. If documents take five weeks, no amount of fast recruitment compensates for it.

What exactly gets checked

Ordered from what stops the project first to what is needed just before arrival.

  1. 01

    The company document package

Company details, registry extract, authorized person, draft employment contract and salary information. Without these the migration partner cannot file for the permit. The most common cause of delay in our projects.

  2. 02

    Workplaces and production

The section, equipment, shift pattern, output norms and the supervisor who will receive the group. If the section is still being commissioned, the start date moves with it - better to know that before signing.

  3. 03

    Occupational safety and briefing

A briefing in a language the workers understand, workwear and protective equipment in the right sizes, a mentor for the first shift. This is the company's area of responsibility, and it is exactly what inspections look at.

  4. 04

    Housing and registration

An address of residence is required to register the place of residence - without it the paperwork is not completed. If there is no housing of your own, WORKIN arranges accommodation as a separate model, and that is factored into the timeline in advance.

What must be ready and what can be finished in parallel

Not everything is needed at the start. But some things cannot be postponed - without them the route stalls.

Needed before the route starts

  • Company details and registry extract
  • Authorized person for the project
  • Draft employment contract
  • Salary information
  • Confirmed section and shift pattern
  • A decision on housing: your own or via WORKIN

Can be finished before the group arrives

  • Workwear and protective equipment in the right sizes
  • Appointing a mentor for the first shift
  • Translation of the occupational safety briefing
  • Small domestic details at the accommodation
  • The transport schedule to the site

The practical rule: the first column is the project timeline, the second is the comfort of the first days. Confusing them is expensive - the second column does not move the deadline, the first one breaks it.

Four steps of the readiness check

The check runs alongside the calculation, not after the contract is signed.

  1. 01

    Call about the site

We walk through the four blocks and record what already exists and what does not. It takes as long as an ordinary conversation about the project.

From the company15-20 minutes on a callTypical timeframe1 day
  2. 02

A list of what is missing

You receive a list marking what affects the timeline and what does not. The list is convenient for assigning tasks internally - to HR, production and safety.

From the companyNo involvement neededTypical timeframe1 day
  3. 03

    Assembling the document package

HR prepares the documents, production confirms the section. Meanwhile WORKIN is already recruiting - the processes do not wait for each other.

From the companyDocument collectionTypical timeframe3-5 days
  4. 04

    Confirmation before arrival

A week before arrival we check the second column: workwear, mentor, briefing, housing. That is no longer about the deadline but about how the first shifts will go.

From the companyReadiness confirmationTypical timeframe7 days before arrival

The full interactive checklist with a readiness score is in the materials section - it suits HR running the project day to day.

How readiness affects the money

The check itself costs nothing - it is part of the conversation about the project. But an unprepared site costs time: people arrive, the section is not ready, and the company pays for the downtime out of its own pocket. The second factor is housing: if there is none and WORKIN arranges accommodation, that is a separate project model with separate pricing, and it must be calculated before signing, not after the group lands.

Recruitment + migration support + state fees = project budget

Each recipient issues a separate invoice. Payments are not mixed.

What the WORKIN recruitment fee covers

  • Sourcing and vetting candidates for your profile
  • Approval of every profile with the enterprise
  • Coordination of the document route with the migration partner
  • Arrival logistics, meeting at the border and transfer
  • Preparation of the first working day and support after the start

We receive the second half only when the worker has started the shift.

The estimate depends on the country, trade, number of workers, pay and additional project conditions: housing, transport and meals.

Line-by-line amounts will be published once the current price list is confirmed and state fees are re-checked against official sources - with the date of validity next to them.

Where to go after the check

Four directions depending on what the check showed.

  • Ready, we can start

    Page

    Staff request

The request triggers an availability check. If the site is ready, the timeline will be the shortest possible for the route.

  • Unclear about employer duties

    Page

    Employer obligations

The third block - occupational safety and briefing - belongs to employer duties. That page sets out what the law requires and which documents must be kept in HR records.

  • Questions about the effect on timeline and cost

    Page

    Commercial proposal

The proposal shows the timeline with the reasons it can grow. An unprepared site is one of those reasons and is factored into the calculation.

  • Getting ready to sign

    Contract

The contract states what WORKIN does and what stays with the company. The checklist is the practical view of that second part.

What people ask about readiness

Practical questions from directors and HR.

  • An incomplete company document package. Details and the registry extract are gathered quickly, while the draft employment contract and salary information often wait on a management decision. Until the package exists, the migration partner cannot file for the permit.
