Moldovan transit visa
Some flights route through Chișinău. For nationals of certain countries a transit visa is required even when the person never leaves the airport.
'But I am not leaving the airport' is the most expensive sentence of this stage. Without a transit visa the airline will not board the passenger, and the ticket is lost.

When this comes up at all
There are no direct flights from some of the countries we recruit in, so the itinerary has a connection. If the connection is in Chișinău, nationals of certain countries need a Moldovan transit visa. This is settled when the ticket is bought, not on the day of departure.

Everything is decided before the ticket is bought; that is the whole point of this step.

Checking the itinerary
We look at which city the connection runs through. If there is an option without Chișinău at a similar price, we take it and the step disappears.

Checking citizenship
Not everyone needs transit. We check the rules for the candidate's specific country rather than relying on memory.

The file and the filing
A ticket with a confirmed connection, the Ukrainian visa or proof of visa-free entry, the passport, a photograph and the application form.

Getting the transit visa
It is issued for specific dates, which is why the ticket is fixed before filing, not after.

Departure and connection
The candidate travels with the full set in hand. The coordinator holds copies in case of questions at the connection.

Transit costs are built into the project and paid by the enterprise along with the other documents. The worker pays nothing for this.

What wrecks the departure
Four situations, each costing a ticket and pushing back the first shift.

No transit visa obtained
The passenger is refused boarding at the departure airport. The ticket is lost, the group flies without them and the first shift moves back by weeks.

Too short a connection
An hour between flights looks like a saving until the first leg is delayed. We build in margin even when the ticket costs more.

Changing the flight after issue
The transit visa is issued for specific dates. Rebooking means filing again, so we do not move dates without real need.

Assuming transit is not needed
The rules depend on citizenship, not on whether the person leaves the terminal. We check every time, even if last month it was different.

What the enterprise signs as the employer
Migration support runs under a contract with WORKIN, and we prepare the employer's HR documents. The enterprise only needs to sign them.
State fees for the permit and residence permit are paid by the enterprise directly to the state, with no markup.
