Cleaning
Staff for cleaning companies and facilities in Ukraine
WORKIN recruits cleaners, scrubber-dryer operators and industrial cleaning staff. In groups sized for a contract, not one person per site.
In cleaning, recruitment is counted in sites rather than people: every contract needs its own shift and its own cover.

What it is and how it works
People for a new contract from its start date
WORKIN recruits cleaners, floor scrubber operators, window cleaners and industrial cleaning staff. The cleaning company names the sites and the contract start date, and we assemble a group with spare cover for replacements and bring people to their first shift.
First we fix the profile: type of sites, equipment, work with industrial chemicals, work at height and the schedule. Cleaning is staffed from visa-free countries - Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan - where lead times are short and most positions need no qualification. Facade cleaners are checked for work-at-height clearance, and we recommend video interviews for team leaders.
You approve the people, the migration partner handles the permit and documents, and WORKIN arranges arrival and housing. For the first shifts a newcomer works alongside an experienced worker, and the team leader checks quality every shift. A whole site can be handed to us under a works contract, and people can stay on WORKIN's staff under a staff provision contract.

The problem we solve
The contract is signed and there is nobody to send to the site
A cleaning company grows by contracts, not by headcount. A new site has to be covered from the day the contract starts, and that is exactly where the labour market fails most often.
A new contract needs people immediately
The site starts on the first of the month. If the shift is not staffed, the company pays a penalty or loses the client in the first month.
Turnover eats staffed shifts
People leave sites one by one, and a quarter later the company is hiring the same number it hired at the start.
Night and early shifts have nobody to fill them
Shopping centres and offices are cleaned before opening or after closing. Local candidates for that schedule are almost impossible to find.
Industrial cleaning requires permits
Work at height, with chemicals and on production sites requires documents most candidates simply do not have.
Who we recruit
Roles, tasks and exactly what we verify
Cleaning looks simple until machines, chemicals and height enter the picture. Those three things are what separate the roles in the profile.

- What we verify
- Discipline, pace, working with people present
- Shift pattern
- Early, evening or night

Window and facade cleaner

Post-construction cleaner

- What we verify
- Physical stamina, work with aggressive chemicals
- Shift pattern

Shift supervisor
- Tasks
- Assigning people to areas, quality control, communication with the client
- Experience
- From 1 year in cleaning
- What we verify

Facade cleaning at height is the only cleaning role where a document is mandatory before starting. The rest we fill quickly, because training takes a few shifts.
Where we recruit from
Countries, roles and timelines
Cleaning is covered from visa-free directions: the timeline is short and most roles require no qualification.

Who runs the project
Who is responsible for people on your sites
Terms with the company, recruitment and work with people in their own language are handled by different specialists, and you get status updates from one manager.

Olena Lytvynenko
Head of enterprise projects
Takes the list of sites and the contract start date and agrees the arrival schedule.

Kemal Aslan
Head of recruitment
Organises recruitment in several countries and keeps a reserve for replacements.

Sherzod Rakhimov
Worker relations manager
Recruits cleaners and equipment operators in Uzbekistan in their own language.

Elchin Hasanov
Worker relations manager
Runs recruitment in Azerbaijan and supports the group in the first weeks.
Contract
Documents for a cleaning project
We recruit the group under the recruitment and migration support contract. A whole site is handed over under a works contract, and if people should stay on WORKIN's staff, we work under a staff provision contract.
We send the templates before signing so your lawyer has time to review them.
Cases and project scenarios
How this works on cleaning projects
Below are delivered WORKIN projects. Company names are withheld under confidentiality terms; everything else is shown as it happened.

Agriculture and food
Launching a packaging shift at a food plant
There was nobody to staff the extra shift: local response did not cover the need.

Warehousing and logistics
Warehouse complex: pickers for an extended shift
Extending the shift ran into a shortage of pickers.
View case →
Manufacturing
Woodworking: machine operators and sorters
Areas stood idle for lack of operators, sorters and packers.

Construction
Construction: reinforcing the crew at the concrete stage
The concrete stage needed people with real experience, not general labourers.

Questions and answers
What cleaning companies ask about recruitment
Answers to the questions that come up before a project starts.
The number of slots in the schedule plus 15-20 per cent for cover. Without a reserve, the first sick day or resignation exposes the site to a penalty.
No. These roles are filled by people without experience; training takes a few shifts. Experience is needed for machines, industrial cleaning and facades.
Yes, for facade cleaning and any work above 1.3 metres. It is the only document in cleaning that we check in the original before departure.
Readiness for night and early shifts is checked at interview and written into the profile. In cleaning it is the main reason people leave, so we talk it through before tickets.
The briefing and protective equipment sit with the cleaning company as the employer. We check whether the person has worked with industrial chemicals and understands the briefing.
It can, and that is normal practice. But each site needs its own supervisor, and transport between sites should be built into the calculation in advance.
If there is no company housing, WORKIN finds where to place the group and organises transport to shifts. For night schedules this is critical: public transport does not run.
The contractual replacement term applies. In cleaning this shows quickly: the client checks quality every day and the supervisor sees the result on the first shift.
