Legal information
Cookie Policy
In short: the WORKIN site counts visits with Google Analytics and runs an online chat. There are no advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.
Working draft. The document describes what the site actually does with data and is awaiting review by a lawyer. Any change is reflected in the date at the top of the page.
Visit statistics
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are opened, where visitors come from and what type of device they use. For this, Google sets its own cookies in your browser. We see aggregate statistics, not visitors' names or contact details.
Online chat
The chat window keeps a technical visitor identifier in your browser so the conversation is not lost when you move between pages. Together with a message, the chat server receives the address of the page you are writing from.
What is stored technically
The hosting provider keeps ordinary server request logs - they are needed to run the server and to protect it from automated attacks. The page language is determined by the page address, not by a cookie. Your choice of the light or dark theme is kept in the browser's local storage and is not sent anywhere.
What we do not do
- We set no advertising cookies
- We connect no social network pixels
- We pass no data to ad networks and do not sell it
How to manage cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, under privacy and site data. Google Analytics can also be switched off separately with Google's official Analytics opt-out add-on. The request form works without these cookies.
If anything changes
If we connect other tools that use cookies, we will update this document and the date at the top of the page.
