Technical trades
Machine and CNC operators for a plant
The plant needed machine and CNC operators with real, not declared, experience. Workin ran video interviews, professional testing and individual approval of every candidate.

01The company's starting position
The role requires proven experience: an operator's mistake is expensive. CVs did not answer whether a candidate could work on the required equipment.
02The Workin approach
Instead of volume sourcing, Workin ran each candidate individually: a test task, a professional interview with the plant's process engineer, a decision on each.
03Sourcing and screening
Candidates answered questions on control systems, tooling and drawings. Video interviews were recorded so the process engineer could review the answers again.
04Document route
Paperwork started only after written approval of the candidate by the plant.
05Arrival and housing
Arrival was planned against workplace readiness, not against a common group date.
06First day at work
On the first shifts the operator worked under a foreman's supervision. Tooling and mode questions were closed on the spot.
07Support after the start
The project coordinator stayed in contact with the process engineer and the area foreman.
Project outcome
The plant received operators whose level matched expectations. Checking before arrival removed the most expensive sourcing mistakes.
